Food Delivery – FAQs
Who or what is eat-ezy?
We are a convenient food delivery service operating in country and rural areas. We want people in these areas to have the same services available as the “big smoke”. Payment is only accepted via debit/credit card.
Where does eat-ezy operate?
Currently we only operate in Mt Gambier and Millicent, South Australia.
Is there a minimum order?
No there isn’t. Both eat-ezy and the businesses involved do not believe a minimum order is warranted.
How do I place and order?
Jump on the app or the website. Find the business you are interested in. Pretend you are walking down the aisles of a shop. When you click on each main menu you will see a sub menu (e.g. Burgers>Cheese burger). Click on the ‘+’ button and the order will be placed in your ‘cart’. Continue to other sections if you wish. Each time you ‘+’ something to the basket it will show on the right of the screen (on the web), and ‘view order’ on the app. If you wish to delete items just press the drop down box next to the item and click ‘remove’ and the item will disappear. Your order will automatically tally and the delivery fee will be shown separately. From there go to the checkout and enter your debit/credit card details. If you create an account these details will be stored securely to save you time in the future. As the order passes through the process you will receive a message updating you.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
A couple of factors are critical. How busy is the business you have ordered and how far away is the delivery address. We cannot guarantee delivery times, but we will try to get it to you ASAP. You will get updates as each process is complete. Also, unlike our competitors, the driver DOES NOT DECIDE whether to accept the order or not. Our orders are despatched manually and not automatically via computer. Therefore your order will be picked up when it is ready when ordered via eat-ezy.
Where do you deliver?
- At the moment deliveries from Mt Gambier can include Tarpeena, Glencoe, Nangwarry. Also, Mt Schank, Allendale East and Pt MacDonnell
- Deliveries from Millicent include Mt Burr, Tantanoola, Rendelsham and Hatherleigh
How do I know my address is within the delivery zone?
The easiest way is to just enter the address in the search bar and if your address is in the zone it will show a list of businesses available. If it is not, ring 0431 673 779 and we will work out a delivery fee for you.
What times are deliveries available?
If the businesses are showing on the app or the website as open, then we can deliver.
Can I purchase alcohol?
Yes. But there is a very strict alcohol policy governed by law. We will ask for ID every time and the person who placed the order must be the person accepting the order. Please, if you are under 18, DO NOT ORDER ALCOHOL.
What if I have a complaint about the order?
We hope you never do but…If the complaint is about the quality and/or quantity of the order, please contact the business straight away and directly. Eat-ezy is a delivery service and we have no control over those elements. However, if the complaint is about the delivery, (time, driver, etc), please call 0431 673 779 straight away so it can be sorted.
Can I tip the driver?
By all means! if you think the service etc is above and beyond what you should expect. However, there is no obligation to do so and the drivers will never ask for a tip. The tip can be cash when the driver arrives or there is an option to tip when you place the order. The driver gets 100% of the tips.
